Girl Scout Brownies Eco-Friend Badge & Rocks Rock Patch w/Optional Fossil Fun Patch
Dig into a rockin’ adventure with the Rocks Rock Patch! Brownies will explore the amazing world of geology through hands-on experiments, discover the unique properties of rocks and minerals, bring a rock from home for show-and-tell, and learn the basics of geologic maps through creative activities.
On Sunday, the outdoor fun continues with an awesome cave tour, a nature hike to the campground, campfire-building safety, and a nature game around the campfire. Brownies will also learn about wildlife rehabilitation while working toward the Eco-Friend Badge and building skills for taking care of the world around them.
The highlight of the weekend will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns! The adventure includes fun workshops to complete badge and patch requirements, “slumber party” style lodging, an evening snack, and a pizza lunch.
Optional: Make the weekend even cooler by adding the Brownie Fossil Fun Patch, where girls will explore fossils and earth history.
