Explore More today! Learn about the exciting underground world the way explorers see it! Girls will learn about cave expeditions, explorers, and caving safety. Combine the Explore More Patch with Going Batty Patch to learn how cave exploration leads to scientific discovery and ties in with cave biology. Girls will also enjoy learning about bat species and each troop will build a bat house to put up in their community! This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Included are workshops to fulfill badge/patch requirements, indoor “slumber party” style lodging, evening snack, and lunch-time meals.
