Workshop for all ages, Bat craft for children

12:00 PM Intro. To Speleology
Powerpoint presentation, featuring cave formation, types of speleothems, cave life and conservation.

1:00 PM Caves & Karst
20% of the continental US – learn all about this significant landform and environmentalconcerns that affect us all. Workshop for all. Cave craft for children.

2:00 PM Intro. To Speleology

3:00 PM Fossils
Our most popular workshop – fun for all, including a fossil cast and fossil hunt for children!

4:00 PM Rocks & Minerals
Examine specimens and learn about the three major categories of rocks with the Rock Cycle Game.
Make a rock craft to take home.

You are invited to hike our nature trails, look over our Campground, use our picnic facilities and browse in Raystown Country’s largest gift shop. Be sure to tour the Lincoln Learning Center and find out about the many programs Lincoln Caverns has to offer.
