Girl Scout Junior Combo - Jr. Cave Explorer Patch & Geocacher Badge

Navigate to a fun-filled weekend of caves and geocaching!

The Geocacher badge teaches girls how to use a GPS unit and find coordinates. Girls will also learn to use geo-slang, track a Travel Bug, make trade items, and go on a scout themed geocaching hunt. Girls will also earn the Jr. Cave Explorer Patch! Cave animals, caving safety, and karst topography are all topics which will enrich their knowledge. This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Sleeping accommodations are slumber party style in the visitor's center. Pre-registration is required and payment in full is due with registration.
