Brownie Girl Scout Badge Day - Choice of Going Batty OR Letterboxer Badges

Go Batty with us or Letterbox your heart out!

Join girls from PA and surrounding states to earn one of two exciting badges offered. Uncover the exciting world of letterboxing with the Letterboxer Badge! Join in a fun game of hide and seek using clues and directions to a hidden box. Collect stamp images as a way to record your findings! Girls will use their creativity to make their own stamp. Working as a team, girls will hide a letterbox, write clues to its location, and find other letterboxes. The Going Batty Badge (courtesy of Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois) is the other badge choice for this event day. Learn about the importance of bats in ecosystems where they live. Play a game, create a poster, and make a craft that will help remind scouts and others, to be good neighbors to bats everywhere. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Included are workshops to fulfill badge/patch requirements. Pre-registration is required and payment in full is due with registration.
