Girl Scout Teen IPP Combo - Wildlife & Digging Through The Past
Join troops from other councils to participate in this overnight program.
Find a treasure trove of knowledge in this exciting badge combo at Lincoln Caverns! Girls will get to experience the geological sciences through hands-on activities identifying rocks, finding fossils, mapping, and soil testing to complete the Digging Through the Past IP. A rock collection for each girl is included. In this unique Wildlife program, emphasizing the importance of bats in our world, girls will gain a better appreciation of our tiny insectivorous friends. Each troop builds a bat house to put up in their community. Lodging is slumber-party style and lunch-time meals are included. Pre-registration is required. Deposit accepted at the time of registration, with balance due two weeks prior to the event date. For more information about this Older Girl Scout Event or any of our other scouting programs please visit our Scout Leader Area.
