Girl Scout Junior Combo - Geocaching Badge & Jr. Cave Explorer Patch

Caches or crawling - we do both best!

Our own Junior Cave Explorer Patch is a fun-filled program with information about wild caving, cave life, and karstlands, including a cave craft to take home and a trip through the Kid’s Cave Crawl, simulated caving experience. Combine this with Geocaching for Juniors Badge (courtesy of Girl Scouts of the Badgerland Council, WI) for a varied and fun-filled program. Girls will gain a better understanding of GPS Basics, create their own cache craft, and go on a geocache hunt designed just for Girl Scouts. . This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Included are workshops to fulfill badge/patch requirements, indoor “slumber party” style lodging, evening snack, and a lunch-time meal. Pre-registration is required and payment in full is due with registration.
