Girl Scout Junior Choice Day - Earth Connections Badge OR Jr. Cave Explorer Patch

Join troops from other councils to participate in this one day program.

Choose either the Earth Connections badge or the Jr. Cave Explorer Patch Program for a one day event with your troop. Our own Junior Cave Explorer Patch is a fun-filled program with information about wild caving, cave life, and karstlands, including a cave craft to take home and a trip through the Kid’s Cave Crawl, simulated caving experience. Fulfill the requirements for the Earth Connections badge by creating a food web, making a cave craft, and performing experiments to learn more about the cave environment and how it connects to the surface world. Both programs include a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns.
