Girl Scout Junior Combo - Rocks Rock Badge & Jr. Cave Explorer Patch

Tunnel into adventure with an exciting program about cave exploration and geology!

Learn to test rock properties, find your own fossil, and discover the importance of soil in three fun-filled workshops focusing on the importance of the geological scineces. While earning the Rocks Rock Badge, girls will also earn the Jr. Cave Explorer fun patch! Cave animals caving safety, and karst topography are all topics which will enrich their knowledge. This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Sleeping accommodations are slumber party style in the visitor's center. Pre-registration is required and payment in full is due with registration.
