Girl Scout Brownie Combo - Going Batty & Eco-Explorer Badges

Go Batty with us, as we learn about the importance of bats in ecosystems where they live. Play a game, create a poster, and make a craft that will help remind scouts and others, to be good neighbors to bats everywhere. The Going Batty Badge is courtesy of Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois. Learn about cave habitats and endangered species to fulfill the requirements of the Eco-Explorer Badge. Girls will make a poster and a cave craft. This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Included are workshops to fulfill badge/patch requirements, indoor “slumber party” style lodging, evening snack, and a lunch-time meal. Pre-registration is required and payment in full is due with registration.
