Girl Scout Brownie Try-It Day - Going Batty or Eco-Explorer

Spring into the world of caves.

Let your Brownie troop choose either the Going Batty Try-It or the Eco-Explorer Try-It for this special one day event. Go batty with us, as we learn about the importance of bats in ecosystems where they live. Play a game, create a poster, and make a craft that will help remind scouts and others, to be good neighbors to bats everywhere. The Going Batty Try-It is courtesy of Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois. OR - Learn about cave habitats and endangered species to fulfill the requirements of the Eco-Explorer Try-It. Girls will make a poster and a cave craft. Both programs include a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Pre-registration is required and payment in full is due with registration.
