GSCNC Girl Scout Junior Combo - Geocaching & Earth Connections

Leap into with a geocaching adventure and learn about cave ecology at the same time.

Meet the requirements to earn two badges – Earth Connections and Geocaching for Juniors (from the GS of Wisconsin – Badgerland Council). Girls will gain a better understanding of GPS Basics, create their own cache craft, and go on a geocache hunt designed just for Girl Scouts! Fulfill the requirements for the Earth Connections badge by creating a food web, making a cave craft, and performing experiments to learn more about the cave environment and how it connects to the surface world. his event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Sleeping accommodations are slumber party style in the visitor's center. Breakfast sandwiches from Burger King and Domino’s pizza lunch are included for all. Girls will experience sluicing for real gems and receive a Lincoln Caverns patch to take home.
