GSCNC Girl Scout Junior Combo - Geocaching & Jr. Cave Explorer

Crawl into adventure with this 'treasure' hunting badge and cave fun patch.

The Junior Cave Explorer Patch program is combined with the Geocaching for Juniors Badge (courtesy of Girl Scouts of the Badgerlands Council in Wisconsin). Girls will gain a better understanding of GPS Basics, create their own cache craft, and go on a geocache hunt designed just for Girl Scouts! Cave animals, caving safety, and karst topography are all topics which will enrich their knowledge. This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Sleeping accommodations are slumber party style in the visitor's center. Breakfast sandwiches from Burger King and Domino’s pizza lunch are included for all. Girls will experience sluicing for real gems and receive a Lincoln Caverns patch to take home.
