GSHPA Girl Scout Brownie Combo - Eco-Explorer & Fossil Safari

Tumble into the exciting world of fossils and ecology.

Brownie Girl Scouts learn about a cave’s intriguing habitat and endangered species in the Brownie Eco-Explorer Try-It Program. Girls use their creativity and artistic expression while creating a poster to help threatened species and also make a cave habitat craft to take home. The Fossil Safari Try-It (courtesy of GS of Wisconsin – Badgerland Council) introduces girls to earth history through fossils. Girls will learn about equipment used by paleontologists, make a fossil mold & cast, and find a fossil for their collection. This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Sleeping accommodations are slumber party style in the visitor's center.  To register for this event, please contact Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania.
