GSHPA Girl Scout Brownie Combo - Eco-Explorer & Fossil Safari

Tumble into the exciting world of fossils and ecology.

Brownie Girl Scouts learn about a cave’s intriguing habitat and endangered species in the Brownie Eco-Explorer Try-It Program. Girls use their creativity and artistic expression while creating a poster to help threatened species and also make a cave habitat craft to take home. The Fossil Safari Try-It (courtesy of GS of Wisconsin – Badgerland Council) introduces girls to earth history through fossils. Girls will learn about equipment used by paleontologists, make a fossil mold & cast, and find a fossil for their collection. This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns.
