Visit our hibernating friends – the bats!

Learn about all the incredible benefits we get from these misunderstood creatures of the night. Each troop will build a bat house to put up in their neighborhood. This “Batty About Bats” Wildlife badge program is combined with the Geocaching for Juniors Badge (courtesy of Girl Scouts of the Badgerlands Council in Wisconsin). Girls will gain a better understanding of GPS Basics, create their own cache craft, and go on a geocache hunt designed just for Girl Scouts! Lodging is slumber party style in our Learning Center. The program includes an hour and a half tour of two beautiful crystal caverns. To register for this program, please contact Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania.
