Girl Scout Junior Combo - Geocaching & Rocks Rock

A perfect spring adventure for small troops to complete all requirements for two badges.

Slide into spring with a geocaching adventure and learn about geology at the same time. Meet the requirements to earn two badges – Rocks Rock and Geocaching for Juniors (from the GS of Wisconsin – Badgerland Council). During your fun-filled visit perform rock tests, go on a fossil hunt, test soil, and learn to use a GPS, create your own cache craft, and find a geocache designed just for Girl Scouts! This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Sleeping accommodations are slumber party style in the visitor's center. Saturday evening popcorn snack and Domino’s pizza lunch on Sunday are included for all. Pre-registration is required.
