Junior Girl Scout Combo - Earth Connections & Rocks Rock

Perfect for small troops to complete two badges!

Engage your sense of exploration while learning about cave ecology through in-cave experiments. Cave life, cave ecology, and karst are topics investigated in the Earth Connections Badge. Rocks Rock is a terrific way for girls to explore different aspects of the geological sciences. Girls discover rocks, fossils, and soil by participateing in hands on activities. Find a fossil for your collection and make a fossil cast to take home! This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns. Sleeping accommodations are slumber party style in the visitor's center. Pre-registration is required and payment in full is due with registration.
